Pearls Before Swine 2025

Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky Airport

Pearls Before Swine combines high resolution and drone photography with common point-of-purchase advertisement and display producing technologies to create narratives about the place it inhabits. It welcomes travelers to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region in this unique transitory public space. By fragmenting imagery inspired by silhouettes of prominent characters from the area, the work creates a dynamic interplay between positive and negative shapes while subverting the material's typical commercial use. Visitors see this work before ascending the escalators traveling to Porkopolis and beyond.
