Endless Commerce is a towering stack of standard milk crates commissioned for Cincinnati’s popular BLINK festival in October 2017. The column pays homage to Brancusi’s iconic Endless Column with its translucent Mylar pyramids inside the crates. The tower is lit by 30 watt LED bulbs held within each crate and automated by an Arduino in the tower’s base. Endless Commerce addresses the seemingly endless supply of products and consumption with an appreciation of the individual participants in the global marketplace.
